SOTC 2005 DOCOF TEAM
John's ramblings
| Yes, since I put this together I get to ramble on :) For
me DOCOF is one of the highlights of my year. I just love being with all
these people who love the sport of Obedience as much as I do. DOCOF is a
competition and then again it's not. There are no losers. It's really
about having fun and catching up with people that you only occasionally
see.
The ladies and dogs that represented SOTC were outstanding! Every single one of them came out of the ring with positive comments about their and their dogs performance. No whiners in this bunch, just a bunch of ladies with great attitude. It didn't hurt that the dogs were very good and the team ended up in the middle of the rankings :) Congratulations ladies, to put a team together on the fly and do this well is very cool and speaks volumes about each of you. I kept pointing out to people that I was a member of that club over there. Next year I hope SOTC fields not one but two teams. I'd love to see more people get involved in this sport. It can be...and is...FUN! Besides, I have a feeling SOTC is going to kick some serious butt next year :) Okay...I'm off my soap box now. |
