| What a good looking guy, huh? We have had Hudson for just a week now so here's a little about what I have learned. He's a lot nicer dog than I even thought! Really. He is getting along great with the other guys but loves Peaches (our other foster) the most. They are just inseparable and love to play together. People think I'm crazy, but, any time I've had two fosters, those dogs seem to drift together. I swear! It's like they get together and ask each other "hey, what's your story?". |

| Observations : Hudson hasn't been socialized but learns quickly. We took him to PetsMart with us on Saturday morning. (Sally Anne and I teach some obedience down there to people who have adopted dogs through GRRMF.) We hold our class upstairs. Guess who ain't never seen stairs before :) It took some coaxing but "ol Hudson was a pro stair climber before we left. We also started him on some basic commands, sit, down, stay and a recall. Hudson is a smart guy but had trouble focusing what with all the new surroundings and new dogs. Betcha he'll be much better when we go back for our Thursday night class :) Hudson got to meet a bunch of dogs for the first time and man was he good. I was really proud of him. |

| Is he perfect? Well no. He's a puppy. I have to tell you though that he really walks nice on a buckle collar. You do have to watch him around the house though. Like any puppy he will "steal" stuff to chew. 95% of the time he's fine...but... Well you get the idea. It's been no problem over here because we do watch him and he already knows the command "leave it". |
Chilling
| After only one week Hudson is already crate trained. He doesn't make a fuss and has no problem going in because he knows that cookie is waiting for him. Good boy.Oh yeah, we haven't had any "accidents" in the crate or the house either. Very good boy :) |
From Death Row to...
| lounging on the couch. Pretty darned cool if you ask me! Hudson darned well deserves it too. Was he a good save? You bet! Has he taught me anything? Plenty. |
