This is what greeted us when we drove in to Bev's driveway. A large pine tree had fallen right on top of her car and her travel trailer was on it's side against the house. We all believe that the travel trailer saved the home. The winds were coming from that direction and when they forced the trailer against the house they had to go over the top of it and therefore the house also.

This is the view from Bev's right side yard. I think this was the neighbor's barn.

This is Bev's left side yard. It's where they keep all the agility equipment. They got it all put away except the dog walk which survived (you can see it in the middle of the picture). The light post also made it. Most of the trees didn't, though.

A look out the backyard

What's left of the shed. The rest of it is scattered about the neighborhood.

Yours truly... I'm not sure I have ever worked quite so hard. (all right ...the three days at Top Dog were bad). This was a real eye opener for both Gail and I. Honestly, I can't say it enough, you have to see it with your own eyes to get the real impact of how devastating these storms are. People were killed, 100's more hurt and thousands of thousands, left without homes. And to think I bitch about the little stuff. Shame on me. Bev and Don are real troopers. It'll be at least a year before their lives are back to normal and longer for most of their neighbors. Thank God they had friends, good friends, "dog people".
