| Baron was turned into rescue on 3/15/02 due to a death in his family. He had been kenneled for 3 months prior while his surviving owner tried to make plans to keep him which didn't come to pass. Baron is a 4 year old neutered male weighing 88 pounds. Yes...we already have him on a diet and he just loves green beans. |

| Baron needs to be an only dog. I am fostering him here with 5 other dogs and it's really tough on him because I have to keep him separated and I can't give him the attention he needs. Baron is a real sweetheart with people. You can handle him any way you want and you won't get any protests from him, just lots of kisses <smile>. You got cats? Baron loves CATS. Mine has batted him every which way and he just loves it. He was raised with cats and wouldn't mind sharing a home with one or two at all! |

| Did I mention that our "Red Baron" is a ball nut. He loves to play fetch and I think he could go on for hours. He also has nice house manners. Not once has he shown an inclination to get on the furniture (even though he's allowed here) and he's housebroke of course. To be quite honest, the only real issue this guy has is being with other dogs. There must be someone out there willing to give this sweet boy a home. |

I don't think Baron was asking me to give him a bath here, do you? Speaking of which, thanks go to Sally Anne who picked this guy up and took him home where she bathed, de-matted and groomed this guy. After 3 months in a kennel, Baron was a mess. Not only dirty and smelly, he had tapeworms and was covered with fleas and had flea dermatitis. We have treated all that and Baron is current on all his shots. Is Baron the "perfect" dog? Are you the perfect person? I didn't think so. Is Baron worth saving? I'd bet my skinny butt that he is. He is guaranteed to bring you a lot of smiles. He's convinced me. Thanks |
